Rooftop channel-letter identity for Marriott in Houston, Texas — building-scale letters engineered for access, structure, and a street approach.

The identity had to work from the street, not only from the hotel lot. Rooftop letters bring structure, access, wind, and permit questions that a façade set does not.
Rooftop identity is a structural and access problem as much as a brand problem. We engineered the set for the roof it sits on and the street it has to read from, then installed it as part of the same hospitality program as façade letters.
Permit, lift, electrical, and inspection were planned with the letter set — not left for a separate rooftop contractor after the crate arrived.
Marriott Houston carries rooftop channel letters that read from the street, installed and inspected as building identity rather than a detached roof graphic.
